NEW CASTLE, PA. – Margaret King, 84, of West Pittsburg Road, passed away the morning of July 27, 2012, at Avalon Nursing Center.
Margaret was born in Cleveland, Ohio (Cuyahoga County) on Jan. 23, 1928, a daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Ryan Goe.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Frank King, who passed away on April 21, 1998.
Margaret retired from the Hills Department Store in Boardman, Ohio where she worked as the assistant manager. She was a member and past state president for the Eagles Lodge No. 455. She enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include her two sons, Frank King Jr. of Mineral Ridge, Ohio and Phillip King and wife Barbara of Wampum, Pa.; five brothers, Howard Goe of Medina, Ohio, William Goe of Ohio, Richard Goe of Medina, and Robert Goe and Ralph Goe, both of Ohio; two sisters, Carol May of Ohio and Patricia Przeracka of Aurora, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Carrie, Marcie, Kelly, Jennifer, Kenneth Jr., Jamie, Tyler, Nicholas and Elizabeth; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth King; and one sister, Lois Hill.
Visitation is Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Entombment will take place at Parkside Cemetery and Mausoleum.
