And your name?
Are you in Sheffield?
I am in Australia and am trying to see if I can link THIS Godbehere family line to mine.
I'd be delighted if this were the case. It would also make current 'contacts', in UK and Australia, relatives.

Sheffield born and bred!
Ann godbehere's child hannah married into the jackson family in 1858
Sorry I'm not a godbehere, its on a maternal line.
I am a jackson. My ann godbehere goes missing before 1850 as her husband marries again in 1850 but to date haven't found any obvious evidence of death.
Any help?

A teeny bit of help, 'cos every bit helps. Thanks Ms Jackson.
But really I am only interested, at the moment, in any GODBEHERE connection and lineage/ancestry. If you have anything else about any GODBEHEREs in your family tree I'd be very pleased to receive it.
Can't help you with the birthplace of my exact namesake back in the 1770s, but probably Sheffield or Rotherham.
They seemed to breed like rabbits around there, and Belper and Wirksworth.
Good luck with your research.
I may be in Sheffield some time in 2013 and if so I'll be doing LOTS of FH research with the patient indulgence of my tolerant wife...
