Good day,
This Edward Gochenauer was the brother to my ancester Maria (Gochenauer) Stoll. I have not yet traced the Gochenauer lineage; however, the two leads below should lead you to the larger family history:
York County Deed ???-631:
Mary Gochenauer of Washington tp.; Edward Gochenauer & his wife Sarah of Huntington tp., Adams County, PA; Joseph Gochenauer & his wife Louisa of Dover tp.; Sarah Gochenauer of Washington tp.; John Stoll & his wife Maria of Dover tp.; David G.S. Gochenauer of Dover tp. enf-rel.to William Harlacher, Jr., of Warrington tp.
75a, 93p Washington tp.: HISTORY: By his last will & testament dated 15 Oct 1831, Jacob Gochenauer devised 75a, 93p Washington tp. to his son David Gochenauer during his lifetime and—after his decease—to his children. The said David Gochenauer has since died, leaving a widow named Mary and issue the following children: Edward, Joseph, Sarah, Maria (intermarried with John Stoll), and David.
