I am looking for information on Hiram W. Goble my GGGGrandfather. His son Daniel M. Goble was my GGGrandfather and his daughter Gladis who was married to John E. Beitell were my GGrandparents. I don't have alot of family information but am willing to share what I have.

I have a photo, mounted on cardboard, of a Rev. Gobles. He was a pastor at North Side Baptist Church in Ottawa, Ks. In 1901. Is this possibly a relative of yours?

Hiram Goble b. 28 Sep. 1814 OH. Shoemaker in 1860 cenus, Farmer in the 1870 census. d.28 Feb. 1880 Warren Co. IA of Anasarca.
spouse: Martha Jane Wilson b. 3 Mar. 1820 IN, d 20 Oct 1867 IA. they married 6 Jan 1840 Montgomery Co. IN. Her parents were Joseph Wilson and Mary F. Freel (descend. of Morris O. Friel b 1713 Ulster, Ireland) I don't know why the difference in spelling of Freel.
They had 10 children - 1st. Daniel Marion b 15 Nov1840, d 9 Oct 1917. he mar.Elizabeth Francis (Sarah)Guy. They had 4 children, one being dau. Gladis Florence who mar. your J.E. Beitzell. 2nd. child was Hiram Wilson b 12 Sep 1842 d 7 Jan 1930.mar. Mary Adeline Hager,they had 10 children. 9th child was my husband's Grandfather Thomas Morgan b 1 Oct d 6 Dec 1924 in Sharon OK.
So, these three were brothers and sons of Hiram & Martha Jane. Their father, Hiram, was the son of Daniel Hiram b 26 Sep 1785 d 18 Sep 1858 & Catharine Munie

I have a new e-mail address that is why it doesn't say Kinder89. You have given alot of information on the Goble family which I really do appreciate and no you did not confuse me at all, it has helped alot. You know you can only go so far sometimes and then you hit a road block and then sooner or later you hear something else. I did misspell my GGrandfathers name who was married to my GGrandmother, it is John Emerson Beitzell not Beitell.
Also, I have Hiram's wife as Martha Jane Wilson also but then I also have found a Jane Leonard. Have you heard anything about her? I am not sure if he was married twice or what.

Hi, I have no idea whether my GGGGrandfather was a pastor or not but I don't think it could have been him because Hiram Wilson Goble passed away on February 14, 1880.

I don't have any evidence that Hiram Goble, born August 28, 1814 in Springfield, Clark, Ohio had a middle name Wilson. He did marry Martha Jane Wilson and their second son was named Hiram Wilson Goble, born September 12, 1842 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co, Indiana. The younger Hiram (Wilson) Goble married Mary Adeline Hagen March 06, 1870 in Warren Co., Iowa. He died January 07, 1930 in Warren Co., Iowa at the age of 87.
