Hi I'm also looking for information on Benjamin and Sina. What is your interest? I think I may have a connection to my line with him.

Contact me off the page if you don't hear back from me again. Sometimes they don't contact me when I get a reply.

Hi,
My connection is with Sina, she is the sister to my Delilah Brown. Delilah named her daughter after her sister Sina, who is my great, great grandmother.
I have had a hard time finding any information on Benjamin or Sina Gobble.
I will be glad to share what I have.
Vicki

I'm from Benjamin's side. I have nothing on Sina.
I think I'm on the right Benjamin, just have to proove it.
My GGGGrandfather was Samuel Goble. We find his name spelled a lot of different ways. His marriage says Dobble. 1860 census says Gobble. We finally after years of searching found him in 1850 Cenus in Lee Co. IA, 1860 also. His parents name in 1850 were Benjamin and Sinah Gamble. The ages are all messed up too. From the ages and where they were born B and S must have married about 1830 in IN. I checked and found Benjamin Gobble and Sina Brown in Rush Co. IN in 1830. Connection? Then Benjamin's father may have been (Frederich) George Gobble of VA. Ben is born in VA. A list of children of George has a Ben b. 1800 same as IA Ben. There is also a sister to Ben. Nancy who's death is listed as before 1836 in Rush Co IN.

They must have moved on to IL by 1834 or so.

Benjamin's middle name was William. Germans used to give the first name in tribute to someone special to them. Used only on birth and death. On one of Benjamin's sons death certificate, he is listed as William. So you really have to look for both names in the states.

Contact me through regular email and we can help each other.
Do you have any children for B and S ?
