I am researching Goshen McCulloh, husband of Laura Francis Gobbel and would appreciate any information you would share.

Don,
It has been a long time since you posted this message, but I hope that you can give me some help.
I would appreciate it very much. I noticed that there
was an Absolom Gobbel listed as one of the children of John Gobbel (1753-1827). My great, great grandfather was born in Rowan County N.C. in 1795-96. He moved to Orange County in Indiana sometime around 1827-1830. Do you have any other information about the Absolom Gobbel you mentioned in your message?
Thanks for any information you can provide.

Jo,
I know its been a long time since you posted this message, but I am hoping you can give me a little information about the Gobbels. My Great, Great, Grandfather's name was Absolom Gobble. It appears that he came from Rowan County N.C. to Orange County in Indiana around 1827-1830. He was born
in 1795-96. You mentioned an Absolom as one of the children belonging to John Gobbel (1753-1827). Do you have any other information on the Absolom you have listed? My Absolom was married to a Betsy (or Bersey or Besty?) Miller. I'm trying to figure out if the Absolom you have listed is my relative.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

Does anyone have any information on Peter GOBBEL, John Nicholas & Mary Helmstetler's son other than a date of birth? Do you know if he went with other Gobbell/Gobel's, Gabel's, etc. to TN? Please email me at
Revisn@hotmail.com
.
