Are you still around, Ken Haas? I've corresponded with you many times over the years.
Last time, I asked if any of the Goads might be related to Pawnee Indians. You said no, but when I visited my only living old aunt in Ga recently, she said the Pawnee came in thru her mother, Sarah Breeden, b 1884 in Girard, Ks, and goes back to her g grandmother Sarah Goad, wife of Abraham Goad, also in Ks. Nancy J Goad is the daughter of Abraham and Sarah, and was my ggrandmother. But, my aunt was taught indian songs by grandma Sarah, and Sarah was taken from Kansas when she was only 4 yrs old. Was when her dad, Lewis Breeden, Jr, divorced Nancy J Goad Breeden. Could be they just had a Pawnee indian living on the farm, but someone taught her these Indian songs when she was very young, and she passed them on.
Also, I have a picture which I tried to attach, that I think is of my grandmother's brother, Andy Breaden (spelling changed), Elizabeth Lundrigan, his wife, and a baby. If there's anyone can help me to know if this is him, please contact me. Thanks. Diann Temple
