LANCASTER - Kathleen Ida (Goad) Labor, 78, formerly of 2324 North Main St., died Saturday in Keystone Nursing Home, Keystone Drive, Leominster, after a long illness.
Her husband, Merton J. Labor, died in 1986. She leaves three sons, Bruce Ashe of Lancaster, with whom she formerly lived, Ronald Ashe of Clinton and Malcolm Ashe of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was born in Whitefield, N.H., daughter of Fred and Hazel (Butler) Goad, and lived many years in Barton, Vt., before moving to Lancaster in 1986. She moved to Leominster in 1988.
She graduated from Whitefield High School.
She was a dietitian in the Barton school system for many years before she retired.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Welcome Brown Cemetery, Barton, Vt. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak St., Worcester, 01609. Queen Chapel, 658 Main St., is directing arrangements.
