I am seeking information on Augusta Gneiser. I beleive she was born in the mid 1860's. I have information her parents were Louis and Anna (Wolff) Gneiser of Green Lake County, WI. I have a marriage certificate, she married Herbert M. Shute (spelling ?) 1886. I have verbal information from relatives they may have divorced and Augusta remarried a "Breivogel". However I can find no certificate of this marriage. I am not sure what happened to Herbert Shute. I can not find any information beyond the marriage certificate of either of these individuals. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. I will share any info I have. Thanks.

Great to hear from you Norma. Since I posted the original message I have been able to trace Augusta from birth to the grave. Sounds terrible. Some of the information you posted is the same as what I have and some of it conflicts. I think the conflict comes from the fact there is more than one Augusta Gneiser because of there married names. The Augusta Gneiser I traced was born in 1886, daughter of Ludwig(Louis) Gneiser and Anna Wolff, had 9 other siblings of which Emma was one; married three times first to Herbert M. Shute I have a certificate, second to Fred Breivogel I only have a verbal on this and a copy of a family letter, third to a Charles Welch I have a certificate for this; I also have information her sister Emma married a Breivogel; I also have an obituary of her death from the Beaver Dam, Wisconsin news paper she died Mrs. Charles Welch, June 11, 1922 at the age of 53 years and 10 months, buried in Oakwood cemetery Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. If you have interest in the Gneiser family I would be happy to share what I have. You can reach me by phone also at 920-233-0501. This information I came by while searching for information on Herbert M. Shute listed above, my great grandfather. I am still searching for information about him. Good Luck with your search.
