CANFIELD, Ohio – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Patricia M. Wolf, 73, who went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 after a two year courageous battle with lung cancer.
Patricia was born April 1, 1938, in Gallitzin, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Olga (Boldizar) Gnapp.
Patricia graduated from Altoona School of Nursing. She retired from St. Elizabeth Health Center as a RN.
She was also co-owner of The Eccentric Sisters in Canfield, Ohio.
She was a long time member of St. Christine Church.
She has a quiet and gentle spirit who enjoyed playing the piano, going to garage sales etc. She was known for her hospitality. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends with whom she loved spending time.
Patricia leaves her husband of 52 years, Fred J. Wolf, whom she married June 20, 1959; her mother, Olga Gnapp-Olson of Canfield, Ohio; her daughter, Brenda (Thomas) Hoover of Austintown, Ohio; three sons, Terrance (Marsha) Wolf of Poland, Ohio, Randy (Janice Inman) of Leetonia, Ohio and Richard (Robyn) Wolf of Boardman; a sister, Deborah Hammond of Canfield; a brother, Jerry Gnapp of Boardman; and nine grandchildren, Kristyn, Jacob, David, Steven, Sarah, Jessica, Amanda, Larissa and Cody.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Christine Church.
Family requests any donations be made in her honor to The Hope Center.
