I was browsing on the web "Glibbery" and came across you. My Grandfather has a picture of one of the William Glibbery & Sons trucks on his wall. I don't know much about the Glibbery Line apart from we are French descendants. Could you enlighten me please? I have forwarded this to my Grandad father Leonard Glibbery. Who now lives in Essex. I live in Christchurch New Zealand.
Kind Regards

William Glibbery did indeed have a Trucking Company in London. He was my Grandfather's (James Glibbery) Uncle. My Great Grandfather was also James Glibbery. This is where our family split. Let me know if you want more information before William and James were born. If we were French decendents, it was before the 1700's. Which I'm afraid is all the information I have back to. I'd love to find out when we came from France. My mother is a Glibbery. Grace, 2nd youngest to James Richard and Elizabeth Ann (Thorne)Glibbery.

I am new to this site because I was googling my brothers name who sadly died last year. but we have this picture on my parents wall in South Africa and the photo of the truck William Glibbery and sons. He is also a direct Great or great great grandfather of mine. The man in your photo is my Great Grandfather I think. I'll put you in touch with my father John Glibbery who has a huge amount of information!
