I would be pleased to make contact with any family member who can help to trace our ancestors and some history behind the family name. My father was Sydney Glibbery born in East London in 1912. His father was William Arthur Glibbery, son of William Amos Glibbery and Jane (nee Smiles), who ran a family transport business using steam lorries and barges. I have family tree back to William Glibbery and Martha Howard who had a son Joseph born 1838 but no information before this. Please let me know if you can help.

My Grandfather was James Richard William Glibbery, born 1882 in Tillsbury, Greys. His family had a transport company in London. He married my Grandmother Elizabeth Ann Thorn in 1910. I don't know anything about my grandfather's family as he was estranged from them. However, my mother tells me his family did run a transport company out of London. She believes they were cousins.
