Dear Richard and John,
I have just returned home from a holiday in Co. Kerry and read your postings. You may be interested to know that I visited the church at Kilflyn, near Tralee, Co. Kerry and then the Irish Palatine Centre at Rathkeale, Co. Limerick.
I have recorded a load of information about the Gleasure/Gleazer/Glazier/Glaser families from there. The information goes back about seven generations to the Palatine region in the Southern Rhine land. When I have studied the research I will send you further information. It is good stuff!
Until then,
Tim Watt

There is an Adam Gleasure buried in the Church of Ireland churchyard at Nohoval near Kinsale in County Cork. I met him once or twice. He was a very nice kindly fun loving man. I think he was over 90 when he died in 1999. I think he may have originated near Tralee. His son George is a farmer.

Hi there,
I am John Gleasure, living in KIlflynn, Co. Kerry. I am not the Gleasures you are looking for but I know who you are looking for.
Unfortunately Adam Gleasure died in 2006, but his wife Lorna lives just up the road from me. They had 3 children (2 boys and a girl).
