Carey Barrett Dead

Carey Barrett, aged 62, well-known farmer of near Bridges, died at his home Friday at 1:30 P.M. after a brief illness of pneumonia.
Mr. Barrett for a number of years was a business man in Leesburg, conducting a big bakery here. Several years ago he moved to his farm near Bridges, where he enjoyed a most prosperous life.
He leaves a wife, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Harold Gleadell of this place is the only daughter. The sisters are, Mrs. W. B. Ruble, of Lynchburg, and Mrs. Banks, of Greenfield. His three brothers, Sherman, of Columbus, Adam and Benjamin of Leesburg. Rev. Milner and Clark had charge of the funeral services held Sunday afternoon, and interment under the direction of Gilbert A. Pavey, was made in Hardin Creek cemetery.
