Looking farther back--Hugh Gladden

I'm looking for more information on my line of the Gladden family. Currently we do not know where we came to the States from, though by looking through a few of these I'm deducing that it is from the UK. The farthest back we have is a Hugh (we think that his first name was Hugh. Apparently there's some question on that) Gladden born sometime after 1725. He married a Jane McCleary (possible McClarey). We do not know anything about their location. However, their son, Moses Gladden, was born sometime after 1755 in Green Co. PA. He married a Jane Clendennin and had two sons as far as we know, Hugh and Elijah. I am descended through Elijah. After this we have good information on this family, but I was wondering if anyone else had farther back on this line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email.

Good Luck,
Emily Gladden (ekgrg7@mizzou.edu)

I am a Gladden descendant through Elijah's son John Harbor who was my great great grandfather. I live near where they came to when coming to MO from Scott Co IN which we have visited. I have good information on any of this line if anyone is interested.
