I am attempting to do some family research. I am a total nouvice at this. The line I would like help with is my Great Grand Father. I actually met him a few times and have a picture of him with my oldest son just before he passed on. Carl Glad that I am looking for came from Sweden. He spent most of his life in the US in Port Orchard WA. He had three children that I know of My Grandmother Selma Johnson, Denny Glad (which I think is just the name he went by... I think his real name was Karl D. Glad) and then there was another sister who if word of mouth is correct was one of the first fatalities on the floating bridge here. I am attempting to research old newpapers for confirmation of that. As I am really green at this if anyone has any information on these people it would be greatly appreciated. I have heard that at one time my uncle Denny and G. Grandfather went back east to a Glad family reunion.....
