I have been at a brick wall with my maternal great grandmother for well over 20 years. She was born in the mid 1880's and was married to my great-grandfather in 1920 with 3 daughters. However by the 1930 census she is gone. My grandfather is a roomer in Waynesboro, Franklin Cty Pa and she is no where to be found on the census. I believe she must have changed her name/or gave it to the census taker incorrectly, but definetly did not use Muth. My mother remembers her dying in the late 1940's or early 1950's. She never kept close touch with her family once she left her husband. She did have a sister named Ada whom married a Jacob Woodring. I was told by a family member that she lived with a gentleman by the name of Ed Hovis. This is all I know. Any help would be appreciated. I am currently searching the obits in the old newspapers.

Thanks for any advice or help anyone can offer.
