I too have been away from Girard research. I know my research is not as exact as others. I keep hearing about Joachim. Is he a son of Michel (b 1789)? My line is Vitaline (b1854), Louis (b. 1815), Michel (b1789), Joseph (b 1764), Joseph (b 1738) then Jaacques (1683), Pierre (1635, France) and Rene (1603, France). Vitaline is my great grandmother.
