Hi John I hope you are still active on this board. I am researching my Guzzetta family that settled in Rochester, NY. I have heard stories (no confirmation) that a Guzzetta started the Gioia macaroni company in Buffalo. I found an Antonio Guzzetta that lived in Rochester that was a macaroni maker. Any Connection?

Hi,
My name is Brandon Bowden, I am deaf and I'm going to DATC college. I've been researching my family history now for two weeks ago.
My grandfather is Russell Anthony Gioia. But my grandfather's family last name is Joy too! He had five daughters and two sons. My mother is twin. You know our great great father is John Gioia. And I found the coat of arms. I am glad to found you.

My grandfather was Giovanni Gioia, son of Girolamo and Maria Anna Alfano, from Porto Empedocle in Sicily. His brother Carmelo named his son Flavio Gioia, so I am very curious to know if we could be related.
