Would it be possible to share information on our Gimbletts. I could send you what I have and perhaps you could add to it.
Best wishes Amanda

If I can help, for sure, just remember I am on the Coventry side of things.

My mom is Frances, Jud's and Lilian's youngest daughter. She is alive and well. I am going to invite you to my family tree and you can see what I found on your grandparents. Some census info and I have an article on Edith's 90th birthday.

Ok this is what I know for sure, I got it from a marriage Cert. My GGrandfather William Henry Gimblett was b 29 Sep 1868 in Hamilton ON Canada. He listed his parents as Robert and Jane. There is some evidence that the family may have moved from North Dakota to Hamilton some time just before he was born. I suspect that they moved from England to NA in 1860's sometime. I checked your tree and do not see a match, ie no Robert Gimblett (born abt 1845) Married to a Jane.

I have a really good picture of your mom when she was little. You most likely have the same one, it is a picture of her and her siblings. I can remember Uncle Juds place on Bronson and his cigars. The house was so beautiful in the inside but now they have not taken care of it, I believe it was a store at some point. Do you live in Ottawa? How do I get to your family tree?
