Hi, I went through my Gilpin files and there is connection with all those surnames except Bacon, at this time. If you want a look up I'll need more information on thge person with Gilpin as a middle name.

I have found some familiers use a mother's / grandsmother's even a friends' families surname/maiden name as a middle name. It wasn't uncommon at all.
