I have hit a brick wall. I have worked back to Uriah Gilpin born about 1823 in Washington county, Virginia. He is in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 Census in Smyth couty. He was married to Malinda Barnes on January 11, 1860 in Smyth county and Nancy Louthian on July 1860.

I am looking for several things:
1) who is his father?
2) when did he die?
3) where is he buried?
4) how does he connect to the other Gilpin's in the area?
