I am the second daughter of Thomas Richard Wilson (Gilpin). There is a male that can supply the Y-DNA you are looking for if you have not already found. My dads brother James Gilpin has a son Kenneth. As far as I know, he would be the only direct male in the line at my branch of the tree.
