I am doing research for a friend of mine in Massachusetts and he is related to the Gilbert family of Ipswich, Massachusetts through the Porter family. Daniel Gilbert and his wife, Elizabeth (Porter) Gilbert as I am planning to write a history of the Porter family myself, but through the branches of all the children of Lt.
