I am looking for any information on the Gilberts from Alabama, around the Gadsden, Rainbow City, Southside area. My Great-grandfather - Pleasant Gilbert and his wife Didama (Burnett) Gilbert, my Grandfather Pleas Gilbert and his wife Elizabeth (Sanford) Gilbert. All, except for Elizabeth are buried in Old Harmony Cemetery in Rainbow City, Alabama. I am particularly interested in Pleasant Gilbert's parents. Pleasant is also the nephew of Thomas Gilbert from Spartanburg, S.C. the founder of Gilbert's Ferry. Thank you for your help.
