Please help if you can - looking for info on my ancestors - Patrick Gillart m Mary Dolan. They were both born Ireland. Patrick died 3 July 1874, Muirkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland. His parents listed as Barclay Gillart and Margaret Foy. No joy in tracing Barclay at all. Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards to you all

I've just got a baptism record for Peter Gillard, Rathmore (somewhere in Ireland), child of Bartly Gillard and Peggy Foy, baptised 2 May 1834, sponsors Pat Harte and Honor Gilroy.

I am trying to contact Allen Croall who has posted a similar message to you on another site. Do you know him?

Thank you so much - not sure if this is exactly who I am looking for but it certainly adds excitement to the search.

The only clue I have is that Peter was listed as born Ireland, Cavan on the Scottish Census. None of the other names as spomsors have any meaning to me at this point.

Truly sorry to say I don't know any Allen Croall nor have I seen his message. Where did he post do you know?
