GIGGER, Charles Frank 84, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2010.
He was born in Eastaboga, Talladega County, Alabama, on January 4, 1926.
He was the son of the late Major James Gigger and Charlcy Sawyers Gigger.
A graduate of Central State University, he received his Master degree from Ohio State University.
Mr. Gigger was a contracting officer, Engine Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, in Fairborn Ohio.
Mr. Gigger was a veteran of World War ll, serving in the Quarter Master Corp, and a lifetime member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity Inc. and a long time member of New North Street A.M.E Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory niece Brenda Moore, nephew Charles Edward Hall both of Springfield, Ohio; Everette and John Lawler, of Anniston, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lemon Roberts and Evelyn Satchers and four brothers, Raymond, James, Herman and Quillie Gigger.
Service for Charles F. Gigger will be held Friday December 31, 2010 at New North Street Church 901 Center Street Springfield, Ohio.
Visitation will be 10:00 am until time of service which will be 12noon with Reverend Christ Ferguson officiating. Interment will be held on Monday January 3, 2011 at Rose Hill Burial Park, Springfield, Ohio.
The Family will receive friends at 336 West Southern Ave. Arrangements entrusted to Porter-Qualls Funeral Home.
