Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas
My name is Francie (Gigger) Schroder, my father was Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Az. I am looking for any and all Giggers and descendents to include in a book. I wish to leave this to my children to know of our history. My father was a wonderful man and I am sure that any relative of his will be just a special.

Re: Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas
Francie, you and my wife (Ceva) are first cousins -- her father is Charles Emery Gigger. I recognized your father's name from our records. I have a picture of your dad in a navy uniform -- I assume it was taken during WW II. He looks to be about 20. I will send it to you if you like. I know nothing of your family -- your mother, brothers/sisters. Would you like to swap files? I can send GEDCOM.

Re: Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas
Francie, I probably can help you contact several people if you haven't by now. My Grandmother Cora Gigger Beck was a sister to Fred. Most of the cousins have maintained contact. I would love to visit with you. I was just in Follett this weekend.

Re: Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas
Jerry, I would love to hear from you. My Grandmother,Cora, was a sister to Emery. There was a slew of girls in that family who all remained in the Follett area and the extended family is still relatively close. We were not even aware that Uncle Emery had any children, and all contact had been lost with Uncle Fred's family. My Uncle, Jim Beck, Cora Gigger Beck's youngest son had some interesting stories to tell about Uncle Emery & Uncle Fred. I am very anxious to hear from you you can e-mail me at wbhancock@itlnet.net

Re: Francis Alfred Gigger from Follett, Texas
I am searching geneology information on the family of Isaiah Gigger and Hettie Jane Girton, of Follet, Lipscomb Cty, Tx, who were the parents of Alfred Wilson Gigger and Cora Minerva Gigger Beck. Stories and information on children, ancestors. etc would be appreciated. I have information also and am willing to share what I have with you.

My family is of the African American descent. I think Gigger was a name the white man gave us during slavery.

Betty, I assume you are descended from Lilly Jane Elizabeth Gigger. If you have not already satisfied your curiosity, I may be able to help. I also have some pictures that you may not have.
