Looking for any Giganti's from Palermo, Italy.

My grandfather was from Cacamo, Sicily. He came over here in 1913. His name in Italy was Gigante, but was changed to Giganti at Ellis Island.

Giganti/e from Caccamo, Sicily
My name is Angela I was born in Caccamo, Province of Palermo, Sicily. My family came to America in 1958. As a small girl in Caccamo I remember writing my name Gigante and Giganti. However, when we came to America we realized we better stick to one spelling. We randomly chose Gigante. My father passed away 25 years ago and my mother tells me that around 1913 my father's uncle, we believe his name was George, came to America. We don't know which was his port of entry but we know he ended up in Chicago.
Could this be the person you're looking for?
Angela
