Jewel [Gibson](Hickerson) Cambron, 95, died November 19, 2001 of natural causes at her Klamath Falls, Oregon residence. Jewel was born March 25, 1906, in Fort Bidwell, CA, to Andrew and Retta (Gibson) Hickerson. While boarding at the home of Walter Cambron's mother, she was introduced to Walter and they were married on June 1, 1929, in Lakeview, Oregon. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Bill Sandberg of Klamath Falls, OR, and Irma and Jim Siler of Redding, CA; grand and great grandchildren. She was preced in death by her husband in 1983; sisters: Ella Dawson, Marjorie Hauck and a son George Cambron.
