We just acquired some family information and are trying to figure it all out. There is a record of Felix Giaccio, born November 19, 1879, Campobasso, Italy, died, October 15, 1956, Pueblo, Colorado. He is at the Roselawn Cemetary in Pueblo. His father was Giovanni, he was married to Jennie and had 5 children, John, Anthony, Albert, Elena, and Carmella. I don't know if they are related to the people you're searching for but I hope this helps.

Hi, my wife's mother's maiden name was Cacciavillani. Her family settled in Argentina from somewhere in northern Italy in the 19th century. Do you know anything about the origin? Is it a common name?

I have Cacciavillina in my family.....but we come from Agnone, which is considered south. It's east of Rome in the Molise region.....was a common name there. My Cacciavillina's settled in Colorado.....although many families had some members going to the US and other members going to S. America.

Surnames: Giaccio, Donofrio
I am very interested in Felix Giaccio. My ggrandfather is Vincenzo Giaccio of Denver, married my ggrandmother Josephine Donofrio. There are only two Giaccio families in all of the entire SWestern US during this time frame - both in Colorado. While I have not got to it yet, I was going to research Felix to determine if there is a relationship (I have collected materials already). My grandfather worked for the railroad for many years in Aspen/Denver and Felix is a steel worker in Pueblo, I suspect his employer was a railroad as well. There is a rumor of a French mother/grandmother,and that either the Donofrio or Giaccio (or both) lines are northern Italian. I have not found where Vincenzo is from with 100% confidance to confirm this. If you have any information about Felix, I would be very interested to either rule him out or in.
