I am trying to find a link - any link - to Vito Giacalone that married Angela Milazzo somewhere in Sicily perhaps mid 1800's. I'm also looking for a connection with a family that had a Marco and a Paolo that were lost at sea in Massachusetts in the early 1920's.

I live in Sicily

It would be wonderful if you could help me track down my father's family. My grandmother was Paola Giacalone. Her father was Vito and her mother was Angela Milazzo. My grandmother was born in May about 1894. She had a sister that was born in October about 1892 who died in infancy. When my grandmother was born, she was given the same name as her sister. I don't know what my grandmother had for siblings. She married around 1911, 1912 to a man named Vincenzo Puma. They emigrated to the USA sometime before May, 1913. Any information you can find for me would be very much appreciated. Many, many thanks.

thanks so much.
Antonino Asaro, born in Mazzara del Valo, Italy in 1883. His wife, Michelina Messena, born same city in 1913.

these are my g-grandparents.

Antonino's parents were Pietro Asaro, born 1870's(?) and Francisca Ciocalone.

Antonino had brothers, Frank, Sam, Peter, James, Vito, and 1 unknown sister and she stayed in Italy. I believe the brothers came to usa.

I have no information on Michelina Messena, my ggrandmother.

Nor, my gggrandfather and gggrandmother.

Have you always lived in Italy and which part?

I'm very interested in anything you have to say.

Thank you,

Annette Frosch

My grandfathers name was Frank Joseph Asaro and he was born around 1918 in San Francisco. His father's name was Matteo Asaro from Trapani Sicily. Would you have any information regarding this family line? I am trying to look for ancestors and don't know where to start. If you could help with anything, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Frank
