My grandparents were Jennie (Militello) and Vito Giacalone from Gloucester, MA. I know they had relatives in Detroit but don't know any more than that. Maybe someone knows of these names in Michigan?

I have Militello relatives who live in Detroit and also relatives by that name who live in Glouster. As both my parents are deceased I don't have much info. My father was Anthony Militello and his parents were James Militello and wife Mary who was a Bosco before she married him. I grew up in the Bay City MI area

Hi Toni, I'll find out more, but in the mean time did your father have a sister, Jennie? How old would he be? My grandmother had a brother, Tony who lived in Detroit and I met him maybe 30 years ago? Who are your relatives in Gloucester? All mine still live there!
you can reply here or blackti@msn.com. Thanks! Would love to here from you!

Unfortunately I do not know names of relatives in Glouchester. My Dad did have an Aunt Jennie who lived in Glouchester MA. My fathers name was Anthony and his brothers were Dominic who lived in Flint, Felix who lived in Bay City and a sister Rosalie who lived in Roseville. Next time I see my Uncle Dominic I will ask him about relatives in Glouchester. He is the only brother of my Father still living. When my parents were younger they used to go to Glouchester to visit their relatives frequently. I believe those relatives all were in the fishing industry.

All my relatives were fishermen in Gloucester - my parents are coming to visit next week - I'll ask my mother for more info - she used to talk about her uncle Tony from Detroit all the time, he was my grandmother's (Jennie) brother. Jennie was married to Vito Giacalone and they lived in Detroit for a short time - one of my aunt's was born there, then they moved back to Gloucester. Talk to you soon!
