Looking for information on B.F.Gholston (possibly Benjamin F.) He is on the 1900 Census in Wynne, Cross Co, Ark. and stated that he was born in 1852 in Georgia. The family records show him only as Benny. His wife was America Ophelia Wall, born in Mississippi. They married in 1882 in St. Francis County, Ark. Would like to find his parents.

Patsy, I have several Benjamin Gholstons in my family tree from Madison Co., GA. Capt. Benjamin Gholston (birth abt. 1835 in Gwinett Co., GA) was the son of Benjamin Gholston (1792-1860) and Catherine Eberhart(1797-?). The older Benjamin Gholston was the son of Dabney Gholston (1767-1825)and Elizabeth Pulliam Gholston (?). Dabney is buried in the Old Fork Cemetery in Madison Co., GA.
Let me hear from you if you think there is a connection.
Donnie

My GreatGrandfather was from Columbus Ms. his name was Julius C. Gholston and my father's name is Bennie Will Gholston Sr.. I ran across a William Gholston here in Gwinnet Co. Ga. I had a whole lot of info from Mr. Don Gholston but my system went down and I lost it and he has since past away. We did find some info that we were related as I am trying to get my database up again. So any info you could supply would be greatly appreciated and I will start my searches again.
