Howdy Karen, Thanks for the letter. I set up this site because when you click on Gex on the internet, you get thousands of links to the computer game of the same name. I am related to Anthony Louis Gex who was the brother to Lucien Lewis Gex. William Davis and I have corresponded and I have given him info on the Gexs who ended up in NW Missouri (Nodaway County), which he has included on his website.I see also that you have corresponded with him also. I would be interested in anything you have regarding the Elizabeth Gex-Oliver Howard line as it appears incomplete on the Davis site. Email me at Edcat@webtv.net please and lets share info. Ed, I saw your note about the Gex's. I know Karen Hall, sent her info I had years ago. Have still been trying to find more on my Marc Lucien Gex, Antoine's brother, both the sons of David Louis Gex-Oboussier. Have read interesting things from the LDS here. Recently I found another Lucien M. Gex in Louisana, born around 1817 and died 1876. Do you have any info that would suggest he is related to any of our lines? I know from some letters I have read that they did business in New Orleans. I just found W. Davis site too. Tanna

Thank you for the letter. Karen Hall has not sent me anything yet, perhaps if you have any info on the Gexs we could exchange. I have heard second hand that the Gex brothers came to the United States thru New orleans. It is all together possible this occurred sice Louisiana was a French colony in the early 1800s.My ancestor Louis Gex oboussier made his way upthe rivers to Kentucky and Indiana,I believe his brother did also, but then returned to Louisiana, but I have not traced the Louisiana Gexs any.The website Bill Davis has is very good, I helped him with the Missouri Gexs, and he helped me with the Kentucky Gexs. I will be at this web address for a day and a half so write back if you can.

Do the names Henrietta Josephine Gex, born at Morges, Switzerland 1838 and Julie Gex of same family, a nurse in WWI mean anything to you?
