William Gewin and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Long
I would like to find descendants of this couple. They were married in Greene County Alabama about 1838. They are believed to be in Kemper County Mississippi in 1840 living with his father and his father's second wife, Susan. After that nothing is known about this family.

Re: William Gewin and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Long
William Hicks Geuin/Gewin's first wife was Sarah Ann Elizabeth Long. They married 1837/38, and had several children. One was Susan Jane Geuin, my great-grandmother.
William's second wife was Mary Catherine Walters. They married about 1853, and had 8-10 children. The children were: Alzar, Missouri, Elizabeth, Daniel, Charlie Hicks, James Allen, Mary, Sophronia, Annie, & Emma.
I hope this helps.
