I'm looking for information regarding my great grandfather and his family. My G Grandfather's name was George Geurts. He was born in Little Chute, WI, on May 5, 1866. His parents were John Geurts and Agnes Van Abel, both were from Holland. George Married Mary Gloudemans, at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute, WI, on May 16, 1893. Mary was born on December 11, 1872, the daughter of Adrian Gloudemans and Johanna Van Roy. George and Mary had 6 children. Agnes, married to Tony Van Dyn Hoven. Martha, who died at the age of 21 yrs. John, who died at the age of 6 yrs. Johanna, who died infancy, Matthais, twice married to a Lillian Unger and a Mary (I don't have a last name) and Rose, married to Lester Van Dinter, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton, on July 16, 1934.
George and Mary had a farm near Kaukauna and retired to Appleton. They lived across from St. Mary's Church on 7th Street. Mary Gloudemans Geurts died on September 4, 1933. George Geurts died on June 27, 1938.
I'm looking for the descendants of John Geurts and Agnes Van Abel. I've heard that George had relatives in Brown County, WI as well as Minnesota.
Any information regarding the Geurts Family or Van Abel Family would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear from you! Thank you!! TK

Since the time of my original post - I've learned a bit more. We now know that John Geurts, was born in 1817, in Holland. He married Agnes Van Abel. They had 4 sons (according to the Kaukauna Sun's reporting of of John's death) Peter, George (My ggrandfather) John and Henry. John Died at the Home of his son George on Oct 2, 1899, at the Age of 82 yrs.
Was your John Geurts from the Fox Valley Area (Wisconsin)? If so - I'm guessing your John was a grandson to my gggrandfather John. If I find out anymore I will certainly pass it to you - if you are interested? Thank you for your reply and the sharing of your information - Hopefully, we can make a connection soon!! Thanks again, TK
