I am trying to find where my grandfather came from. I know his father's name was Allan Geuin and his mother's maiden name was Honeycutt. My grandfather married Lillian Saddler and they had two children, my father Ronald E. Geuin and my uncle Harry "Allan" Geuin. My grandfather went by several names. Talmage Colquette Geuin, Talmage Carl Geuin, T.C. "Jack" Geuin. He had a brother Darden a sister Vivena Geuin-Dickens who passed on a few years back, she lived in Monroe, Louisiana. He also had a sister Essie Lee. I thought they originated in Louisiana, But in searching www.ancestry.com I found my grandfather in the state of Viginia but the trail stopped there. There are several Geuin's and Honeycutt's buried in the Beulah Cemetary in either Monroe or Beulah, Louisiana. My grandfather passed away in 1938 when my father was very young so we don't have a lot to go on. If anyone recognizes these names could you please e-mail me at beekacoolrose@aol.com. Thanks

I haven't been in contact with you for a while ---- There is an 1880 census
in Augusta, GA that lists a Geuin, from France, who married a woman from
South Carolina and they had 2 children.

My Father was Percy W. Geuin, born in Konawa, OK in 1918. His father was
Allie Benton Geuin -- born (the best I can tell) in Kerns County, Texas. He
had at least one sister, Tennie (Geuin) Henslee. Allie was born 12/1/1890,
and died in August 1964. His sister preceded him in death by 3 or 4 years.

They, along with many others who I don't remember are buried in Konawa,
Oklahoma.

My son is James L. Geuin, Jr. in Newport News, Va.
