I live down the road from Baltimore/Basil Ohio in Millersport,OH. My grandfather was Paul B Gessell. I too, am seeking more info about the Gessell family all the way back to Palatinate Germany and onward.

Gertrude is pictured in the 1916 Dalhi, yearbook of Main High School in Dallas, Texas. He is a senior. I'm not kin but thought this might help someone locate family.

Ella Howard married a Gessell in Nebraska or Oklahoma. They were living in Tulsa in 1951. I have information to share about the Howards. I would like to learn more about Mr. Gessell's family.

Hi Sharon By chance did she marry a Benjamin Gessel?
Benjamin is a decendant of my Great Great Great Grandfather John Jacob Gessel. I am looking for info on him to determine if I have his wifes name..... Thanks.

Anna and Sarah Gessell/Ohio

I am looking for information on Anna and Sarah Gessell, both born in Ohio. Anna was the mother of Sarah (dob 1844 in Ohio). Sarah married Samuel McHenry and lived in Putnam County Ohio and after Samuel dies she lived with her daughter Blanche, wife of Russell B. White, in Toldedo, Ohio.

Hi

I am a decendant of a Matilda Gessel Syx (Six). She married William Six in Noble County in April 19, 1866. I believe her parents to be John and Margaret Gessel(l) who I spotted with her in the 1860 census in Noble Co. I have lots of information on William and Matilda's decendants but not much info on Matilda's immediate family/ parent & siblings. If you are related to her, we could share a lot of info hopefully. I would love to know about the family past and present. I would like to compare notes. My email is psyxhemmer@aol.com.

My g-g-grandpa John Wesley Gessell had 2 kids in Ohio (Mary Jane & Matilda Angeline) and 6 in Nebraska (George, Perry, Van Trump, Beatrice, Don Piot, & Eugene William). I have no idea what happened to any of them except Perry. John's wife was Susan Weasner b. 1839 in Basil, Ohio. John was b. in 1837 in Basil, Ohio. Father was David Gessell born in Pennsylvania in 1788. I must have some cousins and family history out there somewhere.
