The name is T. N. Gerth. He was born in Prussia, as was his son Christian Gerth. Christian is the one that sailed for over 21 years and visited every major port in his travels. He settled in Illinois. Info from census 1850 is in message posted April 16, 2001. Subjest is MORE GERTHS.
