My grandmother (Dina Gershman/Hershman) is from Bessarabia Moldavia (Romania). She was born in 1915. Her parents’ names were Eva and Aaron Gershman (Hershman). After the II World War started, she, her sister (Rose) and two brothers(Boris and Konstantin) were running away from Germans and eventually settled in the Russian city Novosibirsk. I know that some of my grandmother’s relatives immigrated to the States in the first half of the last century. Please, If you have any information on Gershmans (Hershmans) from Bessarabia let me know. Any suggestions on my search that will be helpful are greatly appreciated.
