Re: Geraci's from Termini Imerese to Washington D.C.
My Geraci roots began in a farming town called Villalunga Pratemano, S.E. of Plaermo. I have factual knowledge that they went from Sicily to Tunisia and then to New Orleans. Finally settling in Chicago. Grandfather, John Geraci married Vita Immordino. They arrived in the US in 1900. Sorry, but we might be very distant relatives.

Re: Geraci's from Termini Imerese to Washington D.C.
Hi Mark, I have just recently come across some information that seems to link with the Geraci's you have listed. Our great=great grandfather, Francesco (Frank) Marino married Cecelia Geraci in 1894 in Washington DC. It was Frank's 2nd marriage. Cecelia and Frank had a son together named Salvadore. In researching Cecelia's family...I noticed when their Salvadore got married, Cecelia's sister? Mary was a witness. I found Mary Geraci Rice was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery with her parents Girolamo b)1848 d)1920 and his wife, Francesco b(1848 d)1930. This is also the cemetery where Frank Marino, Cecelia Geraci Marino and their son Salvadore are buried. I am still researching to find a more solid link for these two families, but it looks like Girolamo and Francesco were Cecelia's parents too. I also found the information you already have of Girolamo and Francesco coming over with their daughter Mary in 1885 on the ship Gottardo. I'm looking for census record in DC now to show that Cecelia was living with them before she got married. Would love to hear if you have found any additional information on this line and I will share what I find any new information I am able to find with you.
