Ihave seen Nicolas George on someones tree. I have talked to the historian of Sheldon and she said there were four George families that came over to this country around the same time. Three from Belgium and one from France. Mine came from France. If you goggle Sheldon, Wyoming County, N.Y. genealoyg you will find the web site and she maybe able to help you.
