"George, Harold Gene, 79, Las Cruces, NM, passed away Friday, nov. 25, 2005 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. Mr. George was born on May 23, 1926 in Atlanta, KS to August and Gladys Ratcliff George. He was a teacher in the public schools prior to his retirement as an auto salvage owner.
Survivors: wife, Elvira Urista George of the family home; sons Edwin George and Galen George, both of Wichita, KS; daughter Cheryl Parks of New Prague, MN; stepchildren Rosario Urista of Las Cruces, NM, Jesus Raymundo Urista of Dallas, TX; sisters, Norma Kanitz of Winfield, KS, Rita Armstrong of Burton, KS, Donna Broz of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mollie Larssen George in 1980 and his parents.
Funeral services 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29, Graham's Mortuary Cahpel, 555 W. Amador, with Pastor Raul Arriola officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho."
