I am researching a John and Rosalie Jednoralski (spelled at least a dozen different ways) They came to the US via Baltimore and settled eventually in Detroit. I know as an immigrant that the 1st name was probably Americanized to fit in. I cannot find immigration records probably because of the name variation (first and last) but your relatives dates are similar. I was in contact w/William "Fred" Hoffman on the name variations. He is an author on books about Polish surnames. He said the name is a derivative of the word "general" or "jeneral". I have found information under the misspellings of schiralski, jedorski, jednorawski, jednorowski, etc. It is endless. Maybe this will aid in your search.

Hi there,
My great-great grandparents are 'Joseph Genarlsky' and 'Anna Rose Kriese Genarsly' - as I know their names to be! Their son's (my great-grandfather) death record says that he was born in Trehkel, Germany. If this might be who you were looking for, I'd be happy to share information with you.
Thanks!
Kimberly
