Surnames: Geha/Jeha in Australia and Brazil and Lebanon
I've noticed some old postings by you on Ancestry re the Geha family in Australia.

I am currently looking at the following 8 siblings of the Geha family and wonder if you can make any connection with those you
have already in your tree. This family has always spelt their surname with a 'J' but I believe the G is more common and perhaps what it originally was in Lebanon.

Betsy Geha – b. 1886 in Zahle, Lebanon d. 1934 in Egypt (whilst on holiday from Australia).Married Frank Moses Malouf in Lebanon in about 1900 before emigrating to Australia.
They had eight children in Croydon, Forsayth and Cairns, Far North Queensland before retiring to Sydney in about 1925.
Najib Geha – m. ? They had five daughters and one more child – unknown sex. They were Bertha, Nellie, Rozita, Sonya and Yumna. May have emigrated from Lebanon to Sao Paulo, Brazil
Adma Geha, m. to a ? Zazur and they had a son, Maurizio and a daughter, Rozita. May have emigrated from Lebanon to Sao Paulo, Brazil
Victoria Geha m. a Lutvey. They had two sons Edmond and Roberto and a daughter Lily.
Marie Geha
Rachid Geha
John Geha m. Had one daughter, Janne.
Nicolau Geha, emigrated to Sao Paulo, Brazil sometime after 1900, married Linda Malouf, daughter of Chicory Malouf (brother to Frank Moses Malouf above). Had one son Roberto. Roberto m. Sonia Kassab and they had six children: Casio, Sabrina, Sandra, Susana, Sylvana and Sylvia

I'd be interested if you recognise any of these names. We do not have the names of their parents who i believe remained in Lebanon.

Look foreard to hearing from you

Greetings,
I apologize for the delay in responding to you late regarding your questions about family members.
I've seen the Geha name spelled different ways also..Gehay, Jeha, Geha and so on. The names that you list in your email are not ones that are on my Geha family tree. However, there is woman, in Toledo Ohio, who we suspected may have been related to my Geha family. She was able to make a connection between our two Geha families just this year. While we are distant cousins, we are definitely of the same Geha blood line. She has an extensive Geha family tree. I guarantee you, she would be more than thrilled to be in contact with you - she may know the Geha's that you are searching for in your family tree. Would you mind if I send her an email and tell her how to contact you?
Please let me know if this meets with your approval and I will contact her.

Warm Regards,
Nancy

I'm hoping so much there is a connection.
My great grandparents Georgeous Hanna Mellick and his wife Nasta JEHA immigrated to Australia in 1892. They came with his brother John Mellick and his wife Julia and settled in Rockhampton.
Nasta death certificate indicates she was born 1875 in Mt Lebanon to Nicolas Jeja (policeman) and rebecca Anthony.
I recall Uncle Albert (Jeha) growing up and his brother Elias, but I can't find out if there is a connection ( maybe cousins) nor can I get any other connections on this side of the family.

I have learnt in the last week that maybe she came from Kousba.
George came from Bterram.
I am travelling to Lebanon in a few weeks as an extension to Jordan and Turkey tour and hope to place my feet on the soil of my ancestors.

Any input / direction would be fantastic
Leanne Mellick
