Hi-glad you're here-hope I can of some help. I also sent an email to your private address with the address of another interested soul.:) I don't like to put those out myself. If they want to, it's theirs. John's oldest brother born in 1801 is my ggggranpa. have lots on his kids. I'm not a good typer so this will come to you in installments! :) Then came Francis in 1802 then John was born in 1804, followed by Caroline or Catherine in 1811, Then Phebe in 1816 and lastly it was Ezekiel in 1820. Joseph was born in Dutchess county New York. as were all but Ezekiel who was born in Wayne Co., New York. After they got older, all of them lived at least for a time in Michigan except Joseph who died in 1840 in Lyons Wayne Co, New York. But all four of his kids came to Michigan. Joseph married Eleanor Seaton. Francis married Lucretia Ely. He died in 1874 in Ionia co, Mi. John married Caroline Haddock and the Ruth An-----. He died in 1864 also in Ionia, :) Caroline married Caleb Miner. She died in Nebraska in 1873. Phebe married Arthur Mosier and then after her sister Caroline died in 1873, she married Caleb Miner in 1887. She died in Jackson Co. Mi in 1901. Ezekiel married Emily Shoemaker. He died in 1891 in Lyons township, Ionia co. Mi. One of Ezekiel's sons, William, married an only child and she inherited an 8 sided house by Elwell/Sumner Mi and it is still in the family and still standing today. It's a real neat looking house. Email me direct and let me know where you live. When we get to the next generation I have alot of 'stuff' and it will be hard to email it all. Let me know how you fit in, please:)-sharla

Hi I think I may have already replied to your message but I don't see it so I will again. I believe your birth dad was a brother to my granpa. the name fits as well as your mom's name. You and your brothers and sisters names match as well. I have some other info that doesn't match yours. Gaylord was the youngest of 11 kids. 3 girls 8 boys. My granpa was number 8. i even have a print of the family taken when your birth dad was a baby. They weren't from Wayne Co or Ann Arbor tho-they lived in the mid Michigan area most of their lives. Your oldest brother Mike has 4 kids, right and Pat
has 3? I can give you all sorts of family dates and names and such if interested. Email me direst if you want to.-sharla

Hello. I realized this post is 13 years old at this point but I thought, what's the harm in trying. My dad Thomas Henry Adams, talked to you back in 2001 about information regarding the Gee family. You believed his father was the brother of your grandfather You said you had some dates & other info. To make a long story short, my Dad has since passed and I googled a family name and sure enough, this thread came up. I remember him talking about this when I was just 13 or 14 years old. He was really excited. I don't know a whole lot about my genealogy except for what my dad knew and what he was trying to seek out. If you actually see my reply please also Reply to this thread. Thanks

-Tom Adams
