Looking for any information on a female GEDDES born in Alaska between 1920-1930.

Do you know the parents names? I am looking for marriage confirmation, etc for Mearle (Merle?) Gladys Grey and ?? Geddes.

I am a Geddes descendant of the group that left County Tyrone about 1850 and settled in Quebec, Canada. Another group from the same area in County Tyrone went to Indiana about the same time but settled in Indiana. Where is your Geddes line from and where did they settle.

Hi, Just in case that you are still looking for info on Gtey and Geddes.
We are researching the Newson Family and Mearle Gladys Grey is the daughter of John Edward Grey and Ruth Newson. Mearle married Edward Thomas Geddes on June 9 1910 in Medecine Hat, Alberta, Canada and they had 4 children. Mearle also married Clement Sinyard on May 18 1948 in Canadian Memorial Chapel, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. To our knowledge, they had no children.
If this info fits in your family ancestry - please contact us if you want more info. Mary & Lance

I am the grandniece of Clement Sinyard. I would appreciate any info you have on him and/or Mearle Gladys Geddes. Clement left home in the late 1890's and returned once, in 1936 or 1937. I have researched both extensively, but am still open to new information, especially pictures!

Hi, The only additional information I have on Clement Sinyard is the following: Clement Sinyard and Mearle Gladys ( nee Grey) Geddes married on May 18 1948 in the Canadian Memorial Chapel, Vancouver, BC Canada. Clement Sinyard died on December 15 1949 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. Mearle Gladys Grey Geddes Sinyard died on January 21 1953 in Los Angeles. We don't know where they were buried. On Ancestry.com you can see that Clement Sinyard went north to Ketchikan, Alaska many times for example, arriving May 9 1936, May 1938, Jun 12 1939, May 1940, May 1942, May 1944 I have no pictures of Clement, though I have one or two of Mearle. Good luck in your hunting. Mary Timms
