Connie Here's a little that I know about Katherine Waldmann and her husband Charles Geckler.
Charles was the son of George Geckler and Wilhemina Fredricka Holfinger (Holsinger?).. both born about 1835 in ?Wirtenberg? Germany. Charles was born about 1865 in Ohio, and married Katherine Edith Waldmann (b july 24, 1868). Katherine was the daughter of, Alexander Waldmann (b dec 25, 1829, Zaor, Tuscarawas Co, Ohio) and Sofia Huff (b jun 17, 1839, Tuscarawas Co, Ohio). Wilson Harvey Geckler (b jan 12, 1893, Ohio), was the son of Charles and Katherine. He married Hazel Florence Owens (b sep 6, 1895) Hazel was the daughter of Harry Fielding Owens and Amanda Barkheimer

Re: Catherine (Waldman) Geckler - OH.
well i do not have very much more information either. i can tell you emma and emerson geckler's children if you do not know them. they were: maurice geckler, joe geckler, sarah geckler, howard geckler, there were three boys that died in the 1920s also and then my grandmother bessie geckler who died in 1995. she married william a. dycus and he was my grandfather and he died in 1977. i know that dycus info is not important, so i wont go into it but if you could give me a list of information on how you are related to emma and emerson i would be forever grateful. oh, by the way i dont know if i mentioned it before, but i am in carroll county, only one county away from where all of the above gecklers were born. thank you very much. bill dycus

Re: Catherine (Waldman) Geckler - OH.
Charles had a brother named Lewis, who was my great-grandfather. Lewis married a Marian MacDonald/McDonald and they had 7 or so children, one of whom was also named Charles. His brother, Walter, is my grandfather.
