Gebbia in California

Hello, This is very limited information that I have, and I was hoping that maybe someone would read this and possibly fill in the blanks. My family is very old now and far apart. I am the Great Great grandchild of decendants from Sicily/Palermo. My GG Grandmmothers name was Victoriana Gebbia, her husband was Pedro Gebbia. The last place they lived was in California in San Fernando. They could have possibly traveled cross country from Chicago. There are stories of a Church/Hospital in Sicily that my family funded for the city. (?) Along with the stories are that I still have cousins living there. Any leads to this would be helpful. You can email me. Thanks for reading.

Hello, I think we are talking about the same Gebbia's. Joseph ross Gebbis Sr is my husband's grandfather and Ruth Gebbia is his grandmother. They had together Joseph gebbia jr and Laurie Gebbia. please email me @ julie22_20@yahoo.com if this is correct.

Hi,

I'm the youngest daughter of Anthony J. Gebbia.& S. L. Gebbia (I'm not sure mom wants me giving out her name; if you know our family then you know what her initials mean.)

(My grandparents were: Rosario & Helen Gebbia)

I'm helping my daughter w/ a Fam Tree project for school and stumbled accross the many posts on Ancestry.com re the Gebbia family. I'd appreciate any family info you can pass on. Thanks!

Please send reply to this address (segersonfamily@yahoo.com); I don't look @ the Ancestry.com page very often.
